Whatsapp Announces Extension Of Support For Blackberry And Nokia Devices, See New Date

   

 Whatsapp, the messaging app with almost a billion users was supposed to end support for Blackberry and Nokia S40 devices on December 31st 2016 but the date was extended to June and now finally it's going to be extended to December 31st 2017.


There's no official information from Whatsapp yet but the latest update to WhatsApp for BlackBerry 10 (and BlackBerry OS7+) WhatsAppp for BlackBerry 10 confirm the news officially as the change log notes 'changed client end-of-life date to December 31, 2017'.



If you're a BlackBerry 10 WhatsApp user, Make sure to get the latest version downloaded so that it doesn't stop working come June 30th.

By 31st December It'll probably be over and Whatsapp would run out of Blackberry like this
